NOTICE: The state of Texas has discontinued funding for the Liberty County mobile clinic program. Individuals and organizations within the county are working to raise funds for additional visits, but there will no longer be regularly scheduled visits unless full funding resumes. Please watch our events calendar for information on future mobile clinic visits to Liberty County.
PLEASE NOTE: The Liberty County mobile clinic serves those dogs and cats living with families who qualify by being on one of the following: FS, WIC, TANF, SSI, SSD, Major VA Disability, HUD Housing, CHIP, free or reduced cost school lunches. Those who make $10 an hour or less or who are senior citizens (62 years of age or older) also qualify. Those who do not qualify can have their animals spayed/neutered at our Surgery Clinic at Shepherd Dr. near I-10 in Houston. See the Surgery Clinic webpage for additional information.
This is a first-come, first-served program. The SNAP Advance Team arrives on site at 8:00 a.m. The SNAP Mobile Clinic arrives on site around 8:45 a.m. |
