Ms. Jaylin Billig is no stranger to helping needy dogs and cats in the San Antonio area. She and her sweet dog Bailey have always been ready to do their part to raise funds to help those less fortunate. Sadly, Bailey recently passed away from renal failure. Did this end Ms. Billig’s efforts on behalf of the animals? No, quite the opposite is true. Recently, she set up a memorial website on Firstgiving.com to honor Bailey’s memory. The website offers visitors the chance to donate in Bailey’s memory, and the donations are already rolling in. Funds raised through the site will benefit the SNAP San Antonio mobile clinic program, which provides free spaying and neutering for dogs and cats of qualifying low-income households.
What a fitting remembrance for a beautiful and beloved animal. SNAP is deeply grateful to Ms. Billig for her ongoing support of our mission in San Antonio and to Bailey for her legacy of love. Bailey’s memorial website can be found at www.firstgiving.com/baileyslegacy. |
