Donors Rocket Free Sterilization Services to Dogs and Cats in Need

SNAP donors have teamed up with the Houston Rockets to surpass the original goal of the Houston Mobile Clinic Campaign by over $5,000. The Houston Rockets matched each of your private donations dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000. Together you and the Rockets have not only met the campaign goal of $50,000 but gone well beyond it. You stated your support for the mobile clinic program with a resounding voice as donations have climbed to and exceeded $55,000. While the campaign is winding down, donations continue to come in on a daily basis.

Donations to the campaign support the SNAP Houston mobile clinic, which attacks the problem of animal overpopulation by offering free spaying and neutering to qualifying low-income households. The mobile clinic travels to low-income neighborhoods to increase the availability and use of animal sterilization services. It is through this work that SNAP works to stop the destruction of healthy dogs and cats in area shelters.
